Introducing Verity Keely – English Teacher

Hi, my name is Verity. I have been teaching for over 15 years in the areas of English and Humanities and have worked in both Melbourne and Sydney. In the world of education, I am interested in student engagement and helping learners to understand the power of language. Researching educational theories and applying them in a practical setting is the professional challenge I set myself. Beyond the classroom, having recently moved to Wallan, I enjoy gardening, horse riding and making time to enjoy nature. I am a wife and mother of two children who have also joined the Sirius College family.
